I was born and raised on my family’s farm in rural Stanly County, North Carolina, where some of my earliest and fondest memories include hunting, fishing, and camping with my family. Time spent outdoors continues to keep me grounded and brings a sense of peace like nothing else. Helping others experience those same joys is something I consider a true blessing.
By day, I am a practicing attorney. I co-own and operate a local gym, and teach there in the evenings and on weekends. I enjoy traveling and have been fortunate to live in several places around the world, but there is truly no place like home. After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Law, I returned to Stanly County in early 2007, and I am always eager to share the value and beauty of rural life with others.
