I have lived in Albemarle, NC with my lovely wife, Jeanette, since our marriage in 1986. We are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Jana, who was born in 1992. I was raised in Anson County where I spent most waking hours outside. My father was instrumental in getting me involved with the outdoors. I have been hunting and fishing as long as I can remember.
Several of my passions include God, my family, hunting, fishing and coaching volleyball. I have been blessed during my life and love to give back in areas I have a passion. The wonderful emotions of watching Jeanette and Jana harvest their first deer is hard to describe. The more I grow in maturity the more similar emotions evolve when I assist new or disabled hunters. Seeing the smile on their faces after accomplishing something many believed couldn’t happen is emotionally rewarding.
My first guide for a disabled hunt with Wheelin’ Sportsman Hunt at Sawtooth Oak Farms several years ago got me hooked. God has brought new friends into my life through the hunt as well as through coaching. My hope and prayer is to be a positive influence in other’s lives.
